Director Holger Barthel adapted Felix Mitterer’s screenplay in 2008, and it was to be Ruth Drexel’s last film. In the second and final part, it turns out that her granddaughter Laura has the same healing abilities as her grandmother.

After some initial hostility, Halfried Seelig is finally recognized. Her daughter Marion has separated from her husband Thomas and is reestablishing herself in her old home. Especially her growing daughter Laura does not make it easy for her. Instead of going to parties and hanging out with boys, she hides in her own world, similar to that of her grandmother. Halfried senses that Laura has the same ability as she does and helps Laura find her way.
