The series “Schlosshotel Orth” was produced from 1996 to 2004. The 144 episodes portray life at the Schlosshotel on Lake Traunsee. The life of the hotelier’s family is the main focus, but the hotel staff and the vacation stories of the guests also play an important role. Misunderstandings and their resolution, intrigues and love stories characterize this family series. The lake castle “Ort” in the Upper Austrian town of Gmunden on Lake Traunsee (which is not actually used as a hotel) gives the series its name.
