03/06/24 – The first scene for the 20th season of the ORF/ZDF crime series “SOKO Donau” was released at Handelskai. Satel Film relies on the proven team of investigators Andreas Kiendl, Martin Gruber, Maria Happel, Lilian Klebow, Brigitte Kren and Max Fischnelller. The 13 new episodes will be filmed in Vienna, Lower Austria and Styria. The Production is carried out according to the strict guidelines of Green Producing and is as CO₂-free as possible. The new episodes are expected to go on air on ORF 1 in 2025.
New material for all fans of Austrian Crime! At Vienna’s Handelskai, audience favorites Andreas Kiendl, Martin Gruber, Maria Happel, Lilian Klebow, Brigitte Kren and Max Fischnaller are once again in front of the camera for 13 new episodes from the 20th season of the ORF/ZDF crime series SOKO Donau. Directed by Holger Barthel, in the first five episodes are also starring Ines Lutz, Daniel Langbein, Gabriel-Winner Amorin, Edith Saldanha, Nina Fog, Michael Glantschnig, Clemens Berndorff, Matea Novak, Annette Holzmann, Antonia Gohl, Sibylle Gogg, Markus Hamele, Karl Fischer, Paul Hassler, Jakob Schmidt, Helene Pointner, David Jakob, Lino Gaier, Annalena Hochgruber, Pamina Fürst, Dominik Warta, Simone Fuith, Lilly Krainz, Leo Stukenemper, Christoph Stocker and Grischka Voss. Katharina Heigl and Sophie Allet-Coche will also direct four episodes each. The federal state episodes lead the TV investigators in Lower Austria to St. Pölten and Retz, in Styria to Graz on the Murinsel as well as to Leibnitz and the surrounding area.
