03/10/23 – The team of SOKO DONAU | WIEN has two more reasons to celebrate. The new episodes of the 17th and 18th seasons kick off today, starting with a two-part episode on ORF 1. “Der große Mitsch” keeps the investigators of the popular ORF/ZDF crime series busy on their 250th assignment in feature-length, dealing with a strangled escort lady and stars from the Sisi tiara.
Content of the anniversary episode: bon vivant Michael Holzer, called Mitsch (Thomas Mraz), is in trouble. In his apartment, which is constantly sublet due to money problems, a young escort lady is strangled. And Pascal (Nick Romeo Reimann), the boyfriend of his daughter Antonia (Paula Nocker), becomes the focus of the investigation, as he was apparently one of the last people to visit the murder victim.
Mitsch’s posse supports him wherever they can. But apparently not entirely altruistically, because the friends are connected by a secret from the past: it’s about the famous stars from the Sisi tiara that disappeared years ago.
