23/08/2023 – The Kitzbühel Film Festival opened on Tuesday evening with a star-studded Red Carpet. The main actors Simon Schwarz and Valery Tscheplanowa as well as director Michael Podogil, producer Heinrich Ambrosch and many more appeared for the premiere of the latest Metzger whodunit “Der Metzger traut sich”.

16/08/23 – At the beginning of August, the crew of Satel Film had chosen an extremely tranquil spot as the crime scene for the 8th episode of SOKO Donau “Tod im Schrebergarten (AT)” (Death in the Allotment Garden): a small settlement by the Süßenbrunn bathing pond. Between lawnmowers and compost heaps, a murder with a barbecue spit had to be solved. The last scene, when Martin Gruber was presented with a garden gnome in police uniform, generated a lot of laughter.

18/07/2023 – The day has come, Willibald Metzger marries his dream woman Danjela Djurkovic! But before the altar things take a different turn… The world premiere of “Der Metzger traut sich” will take place at the Film Festival Kitzbühel on 22 August 2023 where “Der Metzger traut sich” will be shown as the opening film of the festival in the presence of the cast, director and producers.

22/06/2023 – The first broadcast on ORF in January 2023 already attracted 791,000 viewers in front of the screens, which corresponds to a strong market share of 28 percent. The recent premiere on ZDF was again a complete success: 5.091 million people watched the exciting case with a market share of 24 per cent, making the crime thriller the day’s rating winner.

06/06/2023 – At the end of May, shooting started for the 19th season of the popular ORF/ZDF crime series. South Tyrolean actor Max Fischnaller is a newcomer among the investigators. Fischnaller succeeds Helmut Bohatsch, who is leaving the series at his own request with the opening episode. Andreas Kiendl, Martin Gruber, Lilian Klebow, Brigitte Kren and Maria Happel are back.
